PIERCINGS
Before for your appointment:
- Please arrive on time, otherwise you may compromise your appointment.
- Please arrive well-nourished and well-rested.
- Do not arrive under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
You will be provided fully, detailed aftercare instructions following your appointment, however some key things to note before getting pierced:
- You must wash and your new piercing at least once a day
- No swimming, suntanning, hot tubs, or baths for 2 - 3 weeks

We have a piercer available every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Anna is available for piercings and jewellery changes/removals every Wednesday and Thursday 12pm - 8pm and Saturday and Sunday 12pm - 6pm.
Without parental consent, you must be 16 years of age or older, with government-issued photo ID. You must be 18 years of age or older for genital and nipple piercings.
- Everything (except nipples and genitals): 16 years old
- Nipples and genitals: 18 years old
With parental consent, government-issued ID (photo or non-photo) for child and government-issued photo ID for parent, minimum age is as follows:
- Earlobes: 10 years old and up (*Please keep in mind: Our piercer will determine if they are ready based on their comfort level, ability to discuss the piercing, and whether they genuinely want it for themselves. The final decision is at our piercer’s discretion.)
- Helix/Cartilage: 13 years old
- Other ear piercings, nostril, belly button: 14 years old
- Septum: 15 years old
All other piercings are 16/18+.
We do not pierce babies' ears, as we don’t recommend it. Their ears are still growing, and the risk of uneven piercings that won’t correct over time is high.
We offer earlobe piercings for children starting at age 10, depending on the child. Our piercer will determine if they are ready based on their comfort level, ability to discuss the piercing, and whether they genuinely want it for themselves. The final decision is at our piercer’s discretion.
Please note: We do not pierce children's ears on Sundays. As it is a deal day, the shop tends to be busy and crowded, and we want to ensure the process is not rushed for a child. The minimum age for piercings on Sundays is 12–14 years old.
If you are under 16, you must bring a parent to sign for you. Parent AND child must have ID.
For kids under the age of 16, must have one of the following: passport, birth certificate, or health card.
16 and up options include government-issued photo ID only: passport, photo health card, or drivers license.

We use pre-sterilized, single-use needle only.
For the basic piercing cost, with the jewellery included, we use basic titanium jewellery. We also offer fancier titanium jewellery and 14k gold jewellery at an additional cost! Pricing varies depending on your choice of jewellery.

If your new piercing falls out, please come in immediately (or as soon as possible based off our hours). We will be happy to see if we can save the piercing, however we can't guarantee it, it depends on your body and how long it has been out. The faster you come see us, usually the better.
If we cannot save the piercing, please know we try our best and are very sorry if not! You will be advised to wait 4 weeks for it to heal in order to get it re-pierced if you like. If this happens, it is a whole new piercing and will be charged as such.
If your new piercing is extra irritated and hurts, or you are concerned it may be infected, please come in immediately (or as soon as possible based off our hours). We will be happy to assess it and advise on what to do from there.

3/ Piercings and jewellery are not guaranteed once they leave Skintricate Tattoo Company, as the shop has no control over outside influence. In order to mitigate any issues, please be sure to follow aftercare diligently, and be very mindful of your new piercing and jewellery.
4/ Skintricate Tattoo Company can not be held liable for lost or stolen jewellery. No refunds or discounts will be given for replacements.
5/ In order to provide warranty or replacement due to manufacturer defect, the defective piece must be returned in store. We reserve the right to inspect and determine cause of damage.
